Strengthening the Transatlantic Partnership
Lyra Global was pleased to participate in the 7th Transatlantic Business Club at the historic Hôtel de Talleyrand in Paris, hosted by AmCham France, Business France, and the U.S. Embassy Paris.
One statistic captured the strength of the relationship: French companies employ approximately 750,000 people in the United States, while the U.S. remains France's largest foreign investor, supporting roughly 500,000 jobs. The discussion highlighted how investment, innovation, and trusted partnerships continue to drive growth on both sides of the Atlantic.
Innovation at the Heart of Luxury
Lyra Global was honored to join the French delegation to the 2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit, where government and business leaders came together to strengthen investment between France and the United States.
The United States attracted $284 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2024, and the Summit showcased the scale of opportunity for organizations expanding across the Atlantic.
France remains the fifth largest source of FDI in the United States, and the French delegation announced major investments spanning biotechnology, medical technology, food production, and advanced manufacturing. These commitments will create jobs, advance innovation, and further strengthen the U.S.-France economic partnership.
Two Nations, One Enduring Friendship
This July, Lyra Global celebrated the ties between France and the United States through two national celebrations held just days apart.
The United States marked its 250th anniversary of independence with tributes across both countries, including the French tricolor over New York, the Statue of Liberty illuminated for the occasion, and the Eiffel Tower shining in red, white, and blue. Read more here.
